Sotema 30L Ricamo is a beautiful mediumweight, even weave 48ct Italian off-white linen with a smooth surface and excellent fibre quality. Although it is fine linen with a high thread count, the individual holes are clearly visible. Also avaialble in 100×135 cm.

This fabric is excellent for recreating all kinds of medieval embroidery. It can be used on its own without a backing fabric. Its fineness allows you to get the expert detail in silk embroidery, as seen in medieval pieces. At the same time, the clearly visible holes make the counted thread goldwork techniques seen in the medieval pieces a breeze. It even holds up perfectly with underside couching!
