Frequently Asked Questions Medieval Goldwork Embroidery

How can I learn Medieval Goldwork Embroidery?
Here are answers to some of my customers’ most common questions about learning Medieval Goldwork Embroidery through my online embroidery courses and Subscription Plans. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me—I am here to help!
How do I access the online embroidery courses?
You have two choices. You can either become a member and pay a monthly or yearly fee. In addition to the online courses, you will also have access to the Forum, eBooks, extra information accompanying my blog posts, weekly Stitch & Chat Zoom meetings and the monthly lectures of the Medieval Embroidery Study Group. If you only want access to a particular course, you can buy access to that course only.
For how long do I have access to the online embroidery courses?
For as long as your subscription runs. If you bought single access to a particular course, you will have access to its contents for as long as my eLearning Platform exists.
Do your online embroidery courses come with materials?
No. Materials are not included. Due to Brexit and the US tariffs, it is no longer feasible to ship course materials from the EU to either the UK or the US. Instead, I provide a detailed list of the materials and the manufacturers/sellers. You probably have the exact same materials, or suitable substitutes, in your stash. As there is no such thing as ‘wholesale’ when it comes to gold threads, buying directly from the manufacturer is always the cheapest option!

Why can’t I download the online courses?
My eLearning Platform operates on a subscription basis. As long as you are a member, you have access to all the courses, the Forum, eBooks, extra information accompanying my blog posts, weekly Stitch & Chat Zoom meetings and the monthly lectures of the Medieval Embroidery Study Group. Part of that content is downloadable.
What if I get stuck with my Medieval Embroidery Course?
Don’t hesitate to email me at jessica{at}acupictrix.com. I bet I will have you back on track in no time!
Can I contact other subscribers/community members?
Yes! You can contact other community members (subscribers) on the Forum. Stitchers are incredibly generous when it comes to sharing knowledge, and often, even supplies. Use the Forum to alert others to stitching events, (new) shops, manufacturers, ask questions, get a leg up with your research, etc.
